ombre sparkles & polka dots.

I don't think sequins are meant only for special occasions and evenings. Nope, I think you should wear them during the day running errands, to work -- you get the deal! You might not be able to tell, but the sparkly tank I'm wearing has a subtle ombre effect (which the pictures don't really capture) but show a lovely faded lavender palette. Add some polka dots and a leather jacket -- and you've got yourself an outfit my friends!

    I wear sparkle all the time during the day! I guess that since I am a student though it's easier for me to get away with it; I'm not sure if I could get away with wear sequins at the office.

    You can totally pull this off at work and during the day. Wear sequins all day, everyday! Why not? If it looks good, like it does here, then totally, wear it all the time! Love the ombre...definitely adds some "party" personality to the look!

    I love this outfit. I would totally swear sparkles during the day. I would wear it either on a cardigan or I have a great pair of sequin flats. Gorgeous outfit.

    I totally agree that sequins shouldn't just be reserved for special occasions and evenings cause sometimes a girl needs a little daytime sparkle. That is a fabulous top and you totally rock it out!

    And sequins kinda intimadate me to be honest. I love them for the holidays or on a special occassion...but I don't know if I can get away with them for daytime wear! I think they way you layered helps tone them down...which is a great tip :)

    Fantastic outfit! I've been seeing the sequin-over-a-button-up look around but I always wanted it to have a little more edge. I LOVE what you did by pairing it with a leather jacket! I might have to try that one!
