This outfit incorporates a few of my favorite things {stripes/chambray/boots} all in one look. I layered the button down and sweater over the dress to create a look as if I was wearing a skirt -- which is a great way to get more wear our of your clothes.

Anyone else remix their dresses into skirts?
Hope you all have a wonderful day! xo
Love the layering! Chambray and stripes are a fabulous combination! I remix my dresses as tunic length sweaters :)

I wore an outfit really similar to this, but didn't add the awesome white sweater. And wearing your dress as a skirt is brilliant. You look great!!

ReplyDeleteI found your blog on The Pleated Poppy link up. I love layering on top of my dresses too. It's such a great way to revamp a dress. I especially like layering on top of dresses that can't be worn during the cold Ohio months!

cute sweater! i've been wearing my more summery dresses under army jackets lately!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is so fabulous. The black and white striped skirt pulls it together perfectly!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Wearing the shirt underneath that sweater is a great idea since the knit is a little more open. Love the combination here!

Stephanie - love this - you look so cozy and chic! In the winter I love repurposing dresses as skirts - it's too warm here in the summer to layer, so I'm enjoying it now. :)
ReplyDeleteI love doing that. You get so much more use of items if you think of them differently. I like wearing dresses as shirts and skirts as dresses. Really whatever you can think of and is appropriate goes! :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute look!
