chambray & stripes

This outfit incorporates a few of my favorite things {stripes/chambray/boots} all in one look. I layered the button down and sweater over the dress to create a look as if I was wearing a skirt -- which is a great way to get more wear our of your clothes.

 Outfit Details
Striped dress: Express (similar) // Chambray shirt: Old Navy (similar) // Sweater: Kohl's (similar)
Tights: Target (similar) // Boots: Bakers (similar)

    Love the layering! Chambray and stripes are a fabulous combination! I remix my dresses as tunic length sweaters :)

    I wore an outfit really similar to this, but didn't add the awesome white sweater. And wearing your dress as a skirt is brilliant. You look great!!

    I found your blog on The Pleated Poppy link up. I love layering on top of my dresses too. It's such a great way to revamp a dress. I especially like layering on top of dresses that can't be worn during the cold Ohio months!

    Stephanie - love this - you look so cozy and chic! In the winter I love repurposing dresses as skirts - it's too warm here in the summer to layer, so I'm enjoying it now. :)

    I love doing that. You get so much more use of items if you think of them differently. I like wearing dresses as shirts and skirts as dresses. Really whatever you can think of and is appropriate goes! :)
