Who knew fifty four shades of gray would go so nicely together? I certainly didn't until I tried it on and headed out the door. And I have a confession to make. And once I make that confession, you promise you'll still like me, even if you don't agree? Ok good..... here goes.....
Outfit Details
Sweater: Target // Tshirt: Old navy // Gray jeans: Lauren Conrad for Kohl's
Booties: Target // Fur Snood: Asos
I hated fifty shades of gray. Like really hated it. I wanted to like it but just can't.
Am I the only one? Ok, now do you still like me??
I hope we can still be friends!

I didn't even finish the first book, so we can still be friends lol. But the name of the book sure helps in making blog post titles ha ha! I once called a post 50 shades of green. You look super cute, love the snood.

What a pretty outfit. I think the different textures gave this outfit so much interest. I was not a fan of 50 Shades either - I forced myself to read it all since I bought the whole set.

Love all of the grays! It works perfectly, especially with the pop of purple in the scarf.
ReplyDeleteAs far as "Fifty Shades of Grey" goes, I loathed the first one. I had taken a sneak peak online regarding 2 and 3 and were promised they weren't so dominating like, so I finished the series. If you can get through the first, 2 and 3 make it worth it.

Ha ha! Yeah I was a little disappointed in 50 Shades too, but once I started the triology I had to know how it was going to end. I love your monochromatic look, especially your fur snood! Heather
ReplyDeleteYou look very cute in this gray look. I didn't read the book, it just isn't my thing. I do kind of feel like I'm on an island alone who didn't get all the hype. You can join me :)

My husband makes fun of me because of all of the grey things I have in my closet. Usually, at night, I'll just be wearing all grey and not even notice, and the teasing begins. So, I get the grey. And I like it. You look so cute!

I'm crushing on that fur scarf so much! This is such a cute outfit for a cold day. I have every piece and could totally duplicate it, except for that scarf! Thanks for linking up today.

ReplyDeleteI actually never read 50 shades...BUT I do love the different shades of grey in your outfit. So cute!
Loving all the grey!
ReplyDeleteFirst time here and I love your layers of gray. Come on by sometime.

You can totally pull off 4 shades of gray! I can not :( But I do adore the fluffy snood! I need one.
ReplyDeleteAnd can I just say I love that you disliked 50 shades. I was not a fan either. And I know that kind of talk is not allowed in most circles. I'll give Ms. James credit for her descriptive writing but that is about the only skill she possessed. IMO, of course :)
I love grey. LOVE it!! You look great!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for linking up!
You look great in the grey :)
ReplyDeleteAren't you cute and cozy in grea? I love the snood!

I haven't read 50 shades of grey but don't think I'd like it either. But I can't really say that unless I actually end up reading it. Great outfit and I agree I would have never tried this on my own.

Fashionswirls.blogspot.co,
I'm SO glad I'm not the only one who hated it! I actually didn't even finish reading because the writing was so horrible. I didn't mind the racy parts, but I just couldn't actually read it. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit, shades of grey together are cozy to me.
