winter staples: the sweater dress

I think every woman should own at least one (or a few) sweater dresses in her closet. To me, this is a winter staple needed when the temperatures drop. Throw a sweater dress on with leggings and boots and its a simple look that is put together, and also provides a little warmth too.
And it's got a little pink stripes which are oh so perfect for Valentine's day!

    Hi Steph - I love your blog; especially how you mix lower-priced options with some higher-priced staples like your accessories and jewellery. I know I'm on a budget but I do have my 'splurge' pieces and some "good" jewellery that I am always wearing as well.

    yay...I love sweater dresses too! Yours is adorable. I have one with short sleeves which kind of baffles me. It is fine with a shirt under it but mostly I have to layer a sweater on top of it and make it a skirt. Weird, but it works!
