Sometimes even if it's not raining I'll wear rainboots because I want to. D makes fun of me all the time saying, "but it's not raining!" but I just don't care. That's the fun thing about fashion -- is that you can do whatever you want. I certainly don't follow many fashion rules and just wear whatever I'm feeling that day.

This reminds me of people who wear winter boots with shorts in LA. I use to make fun of it too but now I joined in, b/c I realized fashion in LA is not based on practicality but on what looks good and what you feel like wearing. In one day you can see someone wearing shorts or a skimpy dress and also some one wearing boots and a winter coat! lol

I love it because I do the same exact thing! They are just so fun and the colors are amazing...who needs rain to wear them? As long as it's cold enough! And if it DOES rain, who will be the ones prepared? Us! :)

I say go for it too, you look really yummy wearing your Rubber Wellingtons on a fine day, I often go out with my Wellingtons on with a short Skirt or Shorts when it's sunny and I get a lot of admiring glances.
