Rainy days are always hard to dress for. I don't know about you....but having soggy and wet pant legs is probably the grossest feeling out there. Since I'm short, I feel like my pant legs on rainy days get wet practically all the way up to my knee! Not cool. So for me, leggings and boots are a must. Rain boots if you got 'em (like my favorite Hunter boots) are even a plus. But since rocking rain boots at work might look kinda silly, regular boots will do. And don't forget to treat your leather so they don't get ruined in the rain! Rainy days also make me want to cozy up under a blanket and snuggle with a hot cup of tea. Since that isn't in the cards for most of us who have to go to work-- I need rainy day outfits to be a comfy and cozy and possible.

My office is very casual so I do wear my Hunters to work :) My feet stay dry and I don't have to worry about ruining my other shoes.

Scarf Giveaway!
This is the perfect fall or rainy day outfit for sure. I love the scarf and the nail color. I have an unusual request - would you mind doing a post on protecting your boots? Conditioning etc? (do you do that?) I have a pair that need some TLC I'm so not ready to give them up but after a rough week in Colorado they need attention... I've just been too worried to try anything on them for fear it will mess them up.

I wish I could wear my rainboots all day! Instead on rainy days I have to lug around another pair of shoes in my bag!!
