Shopping with Pretty Little Things

In case you haven't had the chance to go window shopping lately, or if you're feeling a bit uninspired with what to wear today, I thought I would share some of my favorite pics found in stores right now -- check it out!
First stop was J.Crew -- one of my all time favorite stores. Can we please look at this cute little J.Crew family? These outfits would look great as a family photo!
This silk blouse has a print with french hens on it -- too bad it was way out of my price range, because it is oh so cute! And I love how it was paired with a rich colored burgundy pants and camel blazer -- perfection!
J.Crew also had french hen sweaters in luxe cashmere -- soo very soft. I wish this was in my closet!
I enjoyed this outfit too for many reasons. It incorporated different textures and patterns, and even fancy meets casual with the sequins meets chambray. Even I really try, I might be able to recreate this look with pieces I already own -- so we'll see what comes from this.
This is a cute polished look for work. I especially love the statement necklace to give the look a little sparkle.
This is another cute look with sparkles and chambray. I have my own vision of this look that gives it a little twist -- so stay tuned for that outfit.
Bright pretty bangles -- oh my!
At Gap, I loved this peachy pink sweater with cute printed buttoned down shirt underneath.
If you look closely, they are little birdies -- too cute!!
After clothes shopping browsing, I decided to indulge in another one of my guilty pleasure which is home goods shopping at two of my favorite places -- Pottery Barn and William Sonoma.
@ William Sonoma they had the cutest little Halloween candy treat in little medicine bottles. Perfect for decorating and setting up a creepy Halloween display.
Lastly, a trip to Pottery Barn was a must. I would die to live in a PB house. I've been trying to spruce up my apartment lately so I went to get some inspiration. I only left frustrated that I don't have the space, or funds for a Pottery Barn house. Yet. Boo.
Anyway, I love these shelves with different sized frames and little collectibles. I'm sure I could recreate this look for much less money.
And this four-post canopy bed is the bed of my dreams. Literally, it looks so dreamy. Plus I am a huge fan of all white sheets and blankets, so this bed is on my future wish list.
Aside from all these lovely finds, I'm in the market for some new casual sneakers. Not like running shoes for the gym, but casual cute ones. I'm thinking a pair of old school converse (maybe white ones) or a pair of Toms. Anyone have suggestions?

Well that's all for now kids -- what's currently on your shopping list?

  2. Love ALL these outfits! I like to look at J Crew and other places for inspiration, and then put together similar looks out of affordable pieces. But you're right- after too much window shopping you just start to feel jealous that you don't have what they do!

  6. Do you have a home goods in your area? I find that after looking at everything all done up nice in a place like pb you often notice a lot more opportunities for half the price in hg! Keep your eye on on Marshall's and tj for converse! It may take some time to find ones you like but the price is totally worth it!

  8. I love the J. Crew display you photographed, it's so cute and the sweaters are perfect for the fall chill I can feel in the air. I've been on the hunt for black patterned tights, nothing too risque or flashy, just patterned.
