One of my summer staples is the maxi dress - and my black one is the equivalent of the LBD -- meaning it is a classic and must have. But today I wanted to change up the look since I've been rocking this dress so much, so I decided to throw on a plain white tee to change it up. I knotted it in the front, threw on a long necklace and leopard sandals and voila - new outfit!
Perfect for an easy breezy summer afternoon.
I layered on a jean jacket when it got a little chilly in the evening.
Outfit Details
Tee: Old Navy // Maxi Dress: New York & Co (in stores now)
Key Necklace: Open Heart Collection from Kay's (Gift from D)
Watch: Michael Kors // Purse: Michael Kors // Sandals: Target
With this outfit, sometimes I think less is more. What do you think?
Hope you all have a lovely day : )

ReplyDeleteLove the silver elements that shine contrasted with the other contrasted black and white. I love the nail polish, too. fun!
ReplyDeleteYou're right, sometimes simple outfits are the best! It is such a good idea to layer a shirt over the dress, it's like creating two pieces of clothing from one!
ReplyDeleteSo simple but so perfect! I am gonna have to copy this look of these days since I love finding new ways to wear my maxi dresses too. I love your sandals - are they a recent purchase? I need to stop by Target to pick them up.
