Summer Bucket List #37: Visit a Farmer's Market

I got to check off another thing on my Summer Bucket List -- #37 visit a Farmer's Market. I actually accomplished this one by mistake when D and I were looking for places that sold stones for landscaping. The stones were a no go, but the fresh fruit and produce were very plentiful.
Check out these fresh finds:
Really love your peaches...
wanna shake your tree...

Cool venus flip trap plants. Almost came home with one!

Vintage Coca-Cola signs.
Local jarred and canned goods. Mango salsa anyone?
Homemade pickles
Nectarines and plums
Bing! cherries
Farming looks miserable.
gorgeous roses.

confetti flowers.
Just beautiful and smelled so fragrant.

Hope everyone has a lovely day, enjoy the small things,
and don't forget to stop and smell the roses : )

  6. We go to the farmer's market every week in the summer. The produce is so fresh and delicious! It is sad when the season ends and we have to go back to the grocery store produce. I hope you enjoyed it!

  31. great pictures, girl! and that mango salsa sounds really yummy! I keep on meaning to make one of my own with mango/black beans/corn/avocado/i have no idea what else, lol! i also wanted to let you in on a fun fact about that painting of the farmers. the guy that painted that moved to (nyc i think it was) and didn't find any inspiration at all there. he decided to go back home (to i think wisconsin) because that was where he was always inspired. anyways, the people in the picture are actually not even farmers! its the guys sister and his dentist! how weird, right? just thought i would give you a fun fact! thanks for sharing!
