Life Lately...Pretty Little Snapshots

Here's some photos of my life lately - courtesy of the iphone :)
Even though this was from last weekend's homecoming festivities, found here, I forgot to share a the cool banner our girls made to welcome back alumni -- Keep Calm and Carry On -- AOII <3
The other day D and I went into the city (New York City to be exact) with no destination or goal other than to walk around and explore. We literally walked all over the city to the point where my feet were so sore the next day. Here, we found this really awesome little guitar shop that had this vintagey mom and pop feel to it. D got right in there and started playing this really cool guitar which looked like it was made out of steel or something. Look at him go!
That same day we found a park and sat and people watched for a while. And took in the crisp air of this gorgeous fall day with nothing to do.
I claimed it was a "soup day" so I got myself a bowl of homemade minestrone soup in little Italy, YUM!
Kind of obsessed with this t-shirt. #1 because I love the movie Bridesmaids, and #2 because it's true ; (
My Giants chalkboard to keep track of their record -- but whoops! Looks like I'm a couple weeks behind.
I've been working a lot of late nights lately (me =  super busy) -- and one of the only things that have been getting me through are Tazo teas and pumpkin donuts from DD.
And one night I came home particular stressed (D sensed it) and surprised me with wine and cheese night -- love him!
And lastly, I saw this quote in the morning comics and loved the analogy.
Albert Camus is actually the author of my favorite quote that goes
"In the depths of winter, I finally realized that within me there lay an invincible summer."

Hope you all have a lovely day : )
